Terri Garcia in kern county

As the first child of farm labor immigrants who made Kern County their home, she was raised in a christian household with traditional family values. The importance of helping others came from strong familial culture that became her strength and ultimately her legacy in her community. Helping those who didn't know how attain the American Dream, especially those who were immigrants, non-english speaking, hard working individuals who would come to make her name a community household name. Her impact in the community has impacted now 3rd and 4th generations of her very first clients. With great honor and leadership she also now has 3 generations of her own family, following in her footsteps of service and homeownership advocates.
